meg was born in india and raised in india. she moved to italy in 2021 to finish her BA in menswear design and during the first few months in florence, italy, she taught herself how to knit and her knitwear journey began. she was also learning to weave at the time at fondazione arte della seta lisio, florence. her techniques in weaving range from 4 shaft to 8 shaft looms. she was quickly redirected to knitting and found that to be her niche, she practised her knitting at lottozero, prato. she has been taught by paulo melim andersson, ex creative director of chloé and artistic director of marni. he played a significant role in shaping her artistic abilities.

shortly after her course she worked with fendi on a project, following a freelance project with miu miu. she also worked as a client advisor and visual merchendiser at several organisations. previously, she worked with harago and swgt in india. at the moment she hopes to continue practising her craft with an open mind.
